So what about the early MODL Feedback? Frankly, the early student feedback – the MTM scores – have been “off the charts”.
Metrics that Matter™ (MTM) is a Web-based learning evaluation system that allows Microsoft Certified Partners to cost-effectively monitor customer satisfaction, improve performance, and increase revenue opportunities. All CPLS partners and Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs) are required to provide MTM feedback for Microsoft official courses – such as MODL.
The MTM scores from early MODL courses are shown below. MTM data is collected on a “1-9” scale across several categories, including: instructor performance, course content, online environment, and scenarios (“Day-in-the-Life” hands-on labs).
- Instructor Performance = 8.92 / 9 – sufficient help and guidance was provided by the instructor throughout the training program.
- Course Content = 8.39 / 9 – the course objectives were clearly communicated and the student materials effectively covered the technical content.
- Online Environment = 8.42 / 9 – the online Classroom Experience was an effective method of Training.
- Scenarios = 8.55 / 9 – effectiveness of the lab scenarios in reinforcing the knowledge/skills learned in the modules.
The combined MTM scores above are especially impressive because the typical averages for Microsoft courses are in the “7s”. This is unprecedented positive feedback for a Microsoft program.
