Step 2: Get Ready

Once you have completed step 1, it is time to prepare for the 2-hour MODL MCT-authorization Teachback. This involves three (3) simple tasks:

• Task #1: View a MODL (G)ATHER Session – “Seeing is believing!” First, you should watch an actual MODL (G)ATHER session from one of your very own MCTs – Len Taves. Check out Module 4-2 from MODL 2273 below:

• Task #2: Download the MODL Courseware of your Choice – Next, download the following MODL Materials from the MCT Download Center: Instructor Slides, Instructor Notes, MODL Student Workbook (in .PDF form), and Virtual Server Images for Demos. During the teachback you will have the option of choosing the topic that best suits your skills:
  • IT PRO – MODL 2273, Module 4-2: Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Server 2003 Environment
  • DEVELOPER – MODL 2785, Module 4-2: Implementing and Maintaining a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Database

• Task #3: Practice, Practice, Practice! – Finally, you should practice delivering MODL interactions with Live Meeting. You can practice your MODL delivery by installing the 14-day trial version of Live Meeting.
